You will be building a hot pack by following the Engineering Process. You will receive a paper copy of the Engineering Notebook below. We will start by identify the problem.
In this project you will be the proud owner of an engineering firm. You have a famous soccer player that has approached you solve a problem. He has hand picked the worlds best soccer students and is training them at a secret field. The problem is, his new field is somewhere cold and the students have complained about muscle cramps and being too cold to play. He has asked you to come up with a hot pack he can take to his new field for his team. He has provided requirements and given you a budget. Consult your Engineering Notebook to get the details and start planning your design.
You will need to fill out your Engineering Notebook as we go along. Even when you are working in a group, EACH PARTNER must fill the following document out. Your grade is based on how well you follow the Engineering Process and document it in your Engineering Notebook.
Extra Credit: You can earn an extra 10 points if you correctly follow the engineering process, but also if you meet all requirements and restraints.
